    • Manufacturer: Input the manufacturer’s name (e.g., “Catel”).
    • Model: Enter the model number (e.g., “SPL1”).
    • Type: Specify the type (e.g., “GO/ON”).
    • Status: Set the status (e.g., “Online”).
    • Descriptions: Provide a description (e.g., “Test”).
  4. Port Configuration:
    • Input: Set the number of input ports (e.g., “1”).
      • Click the plus icon next to Input, assign the configuration (Type: “Available”, Quantity: “1”).
    • Output: Set the number of output ports (e.g., “4”).
      • Click the plus icon next to Output, fill in the configuration (Type: “Available”, Quantity: “4”).
  5. Fiber Strand Selection:
    • Navigate to the fiber strand section.
    • Select the central office fiber strand and choose the appropriate fibers for the input and output counts.
    • For example, select the input count from the central office and match it with the available output counts from the splitter cabinet.
  6. Recording the Configuration:
    • Click the record button to save the current configuration.
    • You will see the updated splitter listed in the properties page.
  7. Editing Splitter Configuration:
    • To edit an existing splitter, double-click the entry to activate the fields, allowing you to update details or make changes.
    • Ensure to save any changes by clicking the record button again.
  8. Managing Multiple Splitters:
    • You can add multiple splitters as needed by repeating the process.
    • If retiring a splitter, you must unassign and reassign fibers accordingly.
  9. Finalizing Changes:
    • Once all configurations are complete, save and exit the dialogue.
    • Confirm that the new splitter has been added and configured properly in your list.
